"The Color of Pomegranates": What would happen if the painting was transformed into a movie? | Interesting Movie Recommandation

The Color of Pomegranates (Armenian: Նռան գույնը; English: The Color of Pomegranates) is a 1969 surreal film from the Soviet Union.

To be honest, I am not a great artist, nor am I a professional film critic. As a person who only get a C on reading, I can tell you with confidence that...

"I don't understand what this movie is about at all"

I'm not even sure if it has a plot. I just know that it seems to describe something related to religion.

Why would I recommend a movie that I can’t even understand? Because it has extraordinary aesthetics just by looking at it.

I loved every minute and every second of this movie. Everything in the picture exists in "reality," but the composition, action, and atmosphere create a picture that doesn't seem to come from our world. It was the first time I watched a movie and I was so engrossed that I was afraid I would miss a frame.

I really want to write some in-depth thoughts, but I can't explain it at all. If you like surreal (especially graphic) works, you definitely can’t miss it!
